Substitute Teacher Mr. Michael

 Mr. Michael was born in Connecticut and he moved down here when he was about 14. He hitchhiked to Florida when he was in college.

“I’ve been coming to Florida since I was about your age, in fact I hitchhiked down here when I was in college,” said Mr. Michael.

Micheal went to Southern Connecticut state college; it was a teachers college. He used to work at a school in Connecticut, but he gave up that job and gave it to his son, cause his son wanted to start off somewhere new.  Michael finally moved down here and started working for Hurricane Construction, then he finally started to work at South Broward. He fills in for teachers that are absent.

“I enjoy my job. I can be working for up to one day to two months,” said Micheal.

He says he does see himself working here for a longer period of time.
