The Amazing Life of a Football Player

Usually, to pump themselves up, football players do jump up and down, shouting , while listening to music. But, not SBHS senior Wayne Parrish, He looks in the mirror and reads what he has tattooed across his chest: ”Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall I shall arise; when I sit in darkness the lord shall be a light unto me. Parrish says that this verse is what helps him focus on what his mind need to be to keep his head in the game.
Micah 7:8 which was his first tattoo and it says.Parrish says that this verse inspires him to do things that anything that he thought he couldn’t from he was a kid.
The second tattoo that Parrish got is his mothers name.
”She’s the love of my life,” said Parrish. she was there when nobody was there for him and his mom had his back.
The last tattoo that Parrish has is psalms 23:4 and this one says”Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. ”This verse right here made me the person I am today,” said Parrish.
