SBHS Boys Soccer Team Continues Losing Streak
The SBHS boys soccer team lost 0 – 1 against Saint Thomas High on their home field for the second time of the season. This loss is South Broward’s second of the new season, making them more determined than ever to make a comeback.
The Bulldogs had a strong start with an advantage over the Knights. Their defense blocked every shot taken by the opposing team, neither team scoring in the first half. The bulldogs conceded in the last minutes of the game, the knights getting through their defense and scoring the game winning goal.
After the match, head bulldog coach Lionel Brown remarked on his view of the game.
“Today, the team agreed that we played our best game so far. We came out flying and definitely dominated in terms of possession and playing style, every training and game, we constantly push each other to be the best we can be,” said Brown.
