Varsity Baseball Bulldogs Crush Fort Lauderdale

On Friday, April 12, the Bulldogs’ baseball team crushed the Flying L’s with a score of 10-0. This game was extra special since it was their senior night and many of the teammates’ families came to watch and support.

“There was a close play at home plate, but overall we pitched, hit, and fielded well and that led us to take the win,” said the senior Jhony Hernandez.

Marlena Mayorga,14, is a freshman at South Broward High School, who was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. She grew up with her older brother, David Mayorga, who is 19 years old. She also likes to travel with her family.  “I like going to the beach and listening to music in my free time,” said Mayorga.  Mayorga enjoys playing sports, which include soccer, swimming, and track. She has two dogs at home, a dachshund named Rocky and a doberman named Luna.  Something people usually don't know about her is that she loves to bake. Mayorga also likes to shop stores, such as  Pacsun, Brandy Melville, and Aerie.  She likes to buy makeup and hair products including benetint, mascara, and lip gloss.  For hair products she uses hair oils and hair masks.  “I love to shop at malls and online, but I make sure to save money and think before I buy something,” said Mayorga.
