Chailyn Fagundes

Chailyn Fagundes is sophomore at McArthur High School with very creative mind.

Fagundes is enrolled in an art class at school, which she is quite excited about because she enjoys drawing and likes to put her skills to the test. Fagundes’ mom had a big influence on Fagundes wanting to do art.

“Seeing how interested and happy she was looking at her art and making it made me want to do something I could also be proud of,” said Fagundes.

Fagundes is is also quite passionate about music. Some of her favorite artist are Lorde, Clairo, Harry Styles, Mac Miller and Mitski. Fagundes even writes some of her own music, she writes music about how she’s feeling currently or situations that have stuck with her. Writing music is like a coping method for her. She plans on taking the music career in her future and hopes she will be big one day.

Fagundes also plays a few instruments. She began playing the piano at the age of eight and continues to do so today. She is learning to play the guitar, but she finds the piano to be far more easy.
