Gianna Genao is a 17 year old senior at South Broward. Genao was born in New Jersey, but moved to Florida years later. Genao likes how South Broward offers a lot of oppurtunities to students from different backrounds.
“It’s my favorite thing about the SBHS community,” said Genao.
In Gianna’s free time, she enjoys simple hobbies/activities like watching movies or going shopping.
“There’s nothing better than the feeling of buying a new candle,” said Genao.
Her favorite time of year is fall because it brings her reminders of home.
“Fall in Florida makes me miss how cold New Jersey would get,” said Genao.
Her favorite artist is Jhene Aiko, and a quote from one of her songs that means a lot to her is “Why aren’t you smiling?”
“It’s really a reminder that shouldn’t be mad about things I can’t control,” said Genao.
