Austin Cedano is a Fourteen-year-old  freshman at SBHS, he plays football and basketball. The first football team he played for was Washington Park Buccaneers, when he was 6 years-old. Cedano was born and raised in Miami, later moved to Broward County. When he was younger, he moved around frequently but it didn’t affect him, if anything it made him into the person he is today. Most of the time if he isn’t playing football or at practice, he hangs out with his two friends Deb and Aden. “Having people look up to me as a football player is my biggest goal” said Cedano. Cedano loves playing football. When he is older, he hopes to be an NFL player with a million-dollar contract. If it was up to him, he would put football before school, but his mom still makes sure he has an education. He wants to major in law school even though it is a long process. He thinks that he can be a good lawyer and get cases solved. “It is my dream to be successful in whatever I do, I want to buy my parents their dream house” he said. In his free time, he likes to play video games or hang out with friends and family. His favorite places to go are the Beach and Water Parks. He loves to travel when on breaks, and loves going to go to different resorts around the world. The motto he lives by is “Prove people wrong especially those who doubt you"
