Amir Jones, a sophomore football player here at South Broward High School, plays offensive and defensive lines for our football team. He is a student athlete and has been playing football for 9 years, starting off at the Hallandale Chargers peewee. His uncle, who played football, got him into the sport. Then became his coach and mentor, making him the player that he is today.
Jones states that “Always reach for exceeding the limit and giving 110% percent.”
Being the physical player, he is made to play the position that he is playing today at starting center, having to block to protect the quarterback from getting hit. He enjoys playing football and doesn’t really dislike anything about it but is cautious of injuries.
The motto that he lives by is “Hard work always pays off.”
