Spirit Week is Back

After a year of online schooling due to the pandemic, Spirit Week at South Broward High School is back, and kicks of Monday, November 1st with Jersey Day. Students are encouraged to wear sports jerseys from their favorite teams. 

The rest of the week will include theme days selected by the SGA club, Tuesday will be character day.

Wednesday will be class color day, Freshman and Sophomore will wear white, Juniors will wear blue, and Seniors will wear red and gold.

Thursday, an all time favorite is Tacky Tourists day, dress up in your favorite Hawaiian shirt, and wear some sunscreen. It all culminates on Friday with a much anticipated pep rally “The Growl” in preparation for the homecoming football game against Cooper City High school.

Masks are optional but encouraged. Make sure to come out to the game at 7:00 and show some school spirit by wearing red and gold. There will be activities throughout the week like egg racing, musical chairs, and the powderpuff game.

The powder puff game will be on Wednesday the 3rd, after school. The Junior and Senior girls will go against each other while the boys cheer them on. And to conclude the week the homecoming dance will be on Saturday the 6th.
