Angelina Popov-Easton, Editor
Angelina Popov-Easton, an 18-year-old senior and Journalism club president, is entering her final year of high school optimistically.
“I’m glad it’s almost over,” said Popov-Easton.
Although she is ready to graduate, Popov-Easton plans on participating in school events she hasn’t before. This wasn’t her original plan, but her best friend has been encouraging her to go to as many experiences as possible.
“I won’t be dressing up for spirit week, but I might go to Homecoming,” she said.
Outside of school, Popov-Easton works part time at a daycare in Dania Beach. She started over summer, and hopes to stick with it for a while. There, she is responsible for monitoring and keeping the children entertained.
“Hopefully I won’t be burnt out by the second quarter, I’ve been saving all my money for college,” said Popov-Easton.
Her plan for college, however, is undetermined. She has her sights set on a school close to home, but wouldn’t be opposed to dorming in Tallahassee.
“I’m mostly split between FAU and FSU, but I should probably figure out my essay before anything else,” she said.
Her goal for journalism this year is to win another award at FSPA with the rest of her club.
“It would be nice.”
