Anthony Maria is a 17 year old senior at South Broward High school who switched into Journalism Class hoping to learn more and enjoy writing some articles. Maria was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida, but his family is originally from the Dominican Republic, He enjoys sleeping in, playing soccer, and spending time with friends and family.
Maria has always been interested in what's going on in the world and what people are doing to help resolve the big issues. Traveling around the globe has been one of his many dreams.
“I wanna travel and learn about as many cultures as possible," said Maria.
Maria hopes to be able to accomplish his dreams as soon as he graduates by getting a group of friends to accompany him to his first stop in Spain.
