SBHS freshman Pablo De Villa, 15, is excited for his first year of high school.
"I'm so excited for my first year in South Broward, I can't wait," said De Villa.
De Villa is also very excited to be part of South Broward's soccer team. He is looking forward to doing his best at the tryouts soon.
"I've been playing soccer for as long as I can remember," said De Villa. "One of my goals is to make it into South Broward's team."
De Villa's favorite subject is math, not because he enjoys it, but because he is skilled at it.
"I don't really enjoy math, I just like it because I used to study with my brother who taught me advanced topics," said De Villa.
De Villa made a big change when he moved from Colombia to the United States of America. He then learned new languages, and new cultures, and even met a lot of new people.
"About six years ago my parents decided to move here to the United States for me and my brother to focus on our futures, I learned English from zero, and I also met a bunch of people with different cultures," said De Villa.
