Samantha Ruiz, known as Sam or Sammy, is finally a senior at SBHS. She's a bit of a traveler and has been to places like Nevada, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Ruiz's favorite activities to do during the weekend is to watch Netflix, go out with her friends, and shop.
Ruiz took journalism for the first two years of high school, and she found the class interesting and didn’t want to pick any other elective class. Ruiz finds being an online student hard because she isn't able to move around when she pleases, Ruiz even states "I don't plan letting online school stop me from making stories in journalism."
A fun fact that no one knows about Ruiz is that she loves to read in her alone time, and has a collection of books she loves to read, which sums up why her greatest strength is English writing.
During her alone time she likes to listen to music like pop and rap genre. Ruiz also enjoys eating her favorite meal which is Chicken Parmesan, and when she doesn't have anything else to watch on Netflix she'll watch her favorite movie again called " The Birdcage ".
