Thais Defaria is a freshman at SBHS and although she didn't choose journalism as her elective, she likes it and finds it interesting.
She grew up in Hollywood Florida, but has toured a few states in the U.S. She has been to Europe and Canada. Defara likes going to Orlando on the weekends with friends and her boyfriend.
She has been playing soccer for three years and enjoys it, but it can be very stressful for her. She doesn't like losing in soccer and her most embarrassing moment was when she scored an own goal in her first game and thought she did something good.
One thing, most people don't know about her is that she loves insects.
“I love bugs, they are cute sometimes,” says Defaria.
She also loves sushi, specifically the California roll because it is simple, but good.
She is stressed out a lot of the time and she regrets it.
So her advice to everyone?
“Don't stress too much,” says Defaria.
