Alec Boiangui is a 15-year-old sophomore who attends South Broward High School. Although he was born in Florida, he spent his first four years in Romania and then moved back to Florida. Boiangui took this class because journalism seemed very interesting to him.
His favorite sport is soccer. He loves to play cards and pool because he is very good at both. A good Saturday for Alec includes hanging out with friends, going to the gym, and playing soccer before returning home for card playing.
He's traveled a few times to Romania, as well as Serbia, and Sweden. Boiangui always gets mistaken for being Russian though when he's really European. He says he's a man of his own and looks up to no one.
His motto is, "live life how you want, it's not like your making it out alive," he said.
