Georgina Paez is a 17-year-old senior at SBHS. She transferred from a private school two years ago and hasn’t looked back since.
“I’m excited to graduate but I’ll miss the community,” said Paez.
Paez has accomplished much in the two short years she’s attended South Broward, and she isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
“I’m on the board for DECA and Journalism, and recently I started back up the broadcast club,” said Paez.
Her plans after highschool are already layed out and ready to execute.
“After I hopefully go to University of Miami I want to start my own business,” said Paez.
Paez has a fear of being left alone once she goes to college, but luckily isn’t something she should worry about.
“I have always had a great support system, my mom and I have been stuck together like glue my whole life,” said Paez.
