Akaylah Edwin is a 16 year old Sophomore at South Broward High School. She was born and raised In Lauderhill. " I recently moved to Dania Beach when I was 13 years old. I never would've thought I would enjoy moving and switching schools but honestly it was the best decision" she said.

" I enjoy going shopping, out to eat and taking trips around the world, it's so therapeutic. I've always wanted to travel to Dubai. It seems like a fun experience, Dubai is known for having the biggest mall in the world, I know I would go insane in there spending all of my money " said Edwin.

Edwin is a sweet young lady who is very helpful, caring and respectful. " I love helping others because I always think about what if I need someone help one day, I would want them to help me" said Edwin.

Although Edwin has a passion for cheerleading She says " I would be trying out for flag football this year for a change, it's not my favorite but it is something that I like". I enjoy cheerleading, It's my favorite sport. I also want to cheer my last 2 years of high school, and attend cheerleading when I go to college".
