Bryannah Azim, Photographer
Bryannah Azim, who sometimes goes by Bry, is a 17-year-old senior at South Broward High School. She joined Journalism in hopes of harnessing her photography skills and capturing great memories to wrap up her last year.
“I just love taking photos. It has been a passion for me since I was young. It’s like I can catch any moment in time and by just looking at it, the photo can tell a story.”
In addition to photography, Azim is passionate about her love for marine science, which is what she hopes to study at Stanford University.
Azim loves to play water polo and swims on a regular basis. She has been on the school’s water polo and the swim team for 3 years and has been the captain and goalie of the girls’ water polo team for the last two years. She hopes to play while in college and maybe someday go pro.
One thing she is struggling with is procrastination. However, she has been improving her time management skills when it comes to work.
“I tend to leave my assignments to the last minute. This year I am working on improving this bad routine”, says Azim.
Despite her hardships, she always keeps her head up and works hard to keep advancing.
A quote that sticks with her is, “everyone suffers in their life. There are many sad days. But rather than sad days, we hope to have better days. That’s what makes us live. That’s what makes us dream”, Kim Namjoon.
