Zoey Rodriguez is 15 years old and a 10th grader at South Broward High School who is interested in journalism because both of her parents were journalists. She loves writing, music, painting, making jewelry and going to the thrift store. She loves English and history and does not like math.
Her favorite type of weather is when it is cloudy outside because it is not too hot and it is not too cold. She is sensitive to sunlight. During the weekend she likes to go to the park and feed the birds.
“I think ducks are cute,” said Rodriguez.
She loves animals, especially rodents. She had two pet rats and now has two guinea pigs named Ethel and Mabel. She has two dogs, but likes her guinea pigs best.
“Guinea pigs are the perfect pet, they are cute and low maintenance,” Rodriguez says.
