Destiny Johnson, 21 years old and works as an Instacart in a grocery delivery app. Live in Las Angeles California. 

How do you feel about the storming of the capitol building ? “ I feel like it’s messed up they got in there so easily and nothing really happened. Walking around taking pictures just messed up.” Destiny said. 

“ I don’t think a lot is going to happen to them at all to be honest. Simply because their white trump supports.” said Johnson. 

The capitol building was stormed so easily almost like there wasn’t any security Johnson said  ? “Because there were a lot of them and I don’t think security had that easy of a chance but I also feel as if they could have done their jobs better by keeping them out.” Said Johnson. 

These people are getting the proper punishment for what they’re doing.   Johnson said “ Yes I do I think for the most part I believe there were over 100 arrests made so at least they did something. I still think they could have done better.”  

The Trump supporters walking around with Confederate flags waving them around. “I don’t think that’s anything new. I’ve seen that many times where sometimes people use that flag to be prejudice towards people of color its truly sick that they still have this mind set towards people of color after all this time .” said Johnson. 

The public’s reaction would have been way worse if the rioters were Black “  I feel as if it was black people more Authority would have been put down and they would have been out there with the rubber bullets in all. I mean just think about all the protests over the past couple years, the BLM one was horrible the police were shooting people with rubber bullets, I even saw a video of them hitting a colored man in a wheel chair. Just a bunch of unnecessary stuff but when the Trump supports riot and break into the capitol they barley do anything.  ” said Johnson.
