Eric Porter is a 15-year-old sophomore at South Broward High School. He enjoys creating and editing videos, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. Eric has lived in Hollywood Florida in the same house all his life. He is an avid podcast listener and plans to bring a successful podcast to all the students of South Broward. He enjoys video creation and editing and has worked for some Youtubers in the past, doing editing commission work.
Eric’s love for video editing and creation began at 11 years old when he started making Youtube videos on his dad's old camera. He joined journalism hoping to create creative and fun videos for the Bulldog Bark newspaper. He enjoys the technical side of making videos, but also enjoys being in front of the camera. He also likes to write short stories, so writing articles will be another fun activity for Eric in his journalism class.
Eric is in the Drama club and has won straight superiors at districts in states. Eric enjoys acting but says he cannot sing or dance. Eric thinks he may have a career in acting in the future, but mainly wants to study psychology and end up getting a master's degree in psychology at Florida State University.
